MALMON.NET 2008 YEAR IN REVIEW
On behalf of the Malmon.net team, I wish to acknowledge all the services our Fraternity has given to the society this past year. I ask each of you to continue to carry out our charitable initiatives, assist in the environmental conservation, raise more scholarship funds, and enhance the quality of life of our fellowmen. These services are promoted in Malmon.net and celebrated every year to give appreciation to all the good deeds we have done this year. We lead by example and we inspire each of us with our selfless spirit. Our commitment to hundreds of worthy causes ensures that we sustain our long and proud tradition of philanthropy and volunteerism, and secure a better future for our people, our communities, and our planet. Let me greet each and everyone of you a very happy and prosperous New Year ! ! ! I wish to thank all of you for your support and contributions to the Gawad Kalinga Project of the Beta Sigma Fraternity. It gives me that much needed strength to continue working for the ideals of our brotherhood knowing that I have brothers and sisters back home and abroad who are committed in the completion of this great and noble project. I realized that it is in this kind of achievements that we could truly find deeper meaning for our existence, for this I am truly grateful of the opportunity to help and serve others. We should all be proud to be an integral part of a community dedicated to improving the quality of life in the society of our beloved country. It is my pleasure to inform you that as of December 21, 2008 we have officially awarded twelve houses to the recipients of Barrio Guihing, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur. Eighteen more houses to go to achieve our goal. One day at a time, one dollar at a time, one house at a time--IT CAN BE DONE! It is only through our unity of purpose and concerted efforts that this can be accomplished. So my dear brothers and sisters, let us continue collectively to make an indelible mark in our society. “Piso mula sa puso” daily is enough to make this possible! The passion and commitment to our values will enable us to meet our objectives and become a recognized service leader among various organizations worldwide.
